Delete Your MedProH Account

    You can delete your MedProH account yourself, from inside the app, at any time. It takes about thirty seconds and does not require contacting us. Deletion is immediate — not a request that sits in a queue.
  

Deleting your account in the app

Open the MedProH app and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
Read what will be removed and what will be kept, then confirm.
Enter your password. This is to make sure it is you, and not someone who has picked up your unlocked phone.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are returned to the sign-in screen. You will not be able to sign in again, and the email address becomes free to register a new account with.

If you cannot use the app

If you have lost access to your device, cannot sign in, or have already uninstalled the app, email us and we will delete your account for you:

Send the request from the email address on the account, and say that you want the account deleted. We will confirm your identity before acting — we will not delete an account on the word of someone who cannot demonstrate it is theirs. We respond within 48 hours and complete verified requests within 7 days.

What is deleted

Everything that identifies you as a person is erased immediately and permanently. It is not archived, and it is not recoverable.

What is kept, and why

Some records cannot be deleted, because they are financial and employment records that the law requires us — and the facilities you worked for — to retain.

These records no longer identify you. They are stored against a random identifier, and once your account is deleted there is no name, email address, phone number, licence number or bank account left anywhere in our systems that the identifier can be matched back to. The financial record survives; the person does not.

Stripe retains its own transaction records under its own legal obligations, independently of us. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Before you delete

Finish or cancel any shift you have accepted. A facility is relying on you to arrive. Deleting your account does not cancel the shift or notify anyone on your behalf.
Make sure you have been paid. If a payout is still in transit, Stripe will refuse to close the connected account and the deletion will fail with an error. Wait for the payment to land, then delete.
Save anything you need. You can request a copy of your data first by emailing privacy@medproh.app. After deletion there is nothing left to send you.

Deleting the app is not the same thing

Removing MedProH from your phone stops the app running but leaves your account, your profile and your data exactly as they were. To delete the account you must use the steps above.
